Jake is engaged

This news is a bit old, but it seems that Jake is engaged. His fiancee is named Brooke. Best of luck to both of them. I guess it also puts the mission question to bed once and for all. Jake will be here for the next few years.

So by getting married he can put potential HC issues and the mission question "to bed", huh? Was the pun intended or just Freudian?

Heaps was never going on a mission anyway, he gave every hint possible that he was not going to go. I believe he is so committed to being a multi-million dollar NFL QB that he was going to risk the Ben Olsen thing. Just hope she married him for love...and not for something else?

Mine was most certainly TIC... I was hoping that it was obvious.

I did a quick google images search of "Brooke," and while I wish I had a last name to be more precise, if the images that came up were any indication of the trout Jake has landed, I can understand the urgency to get married at 19.

Checked out her FB picture. Gotta say that it speaks volumes. I hope he is making a good choice. I got married at 28. By that time I had friends from BYU that had been married, divorced and re-married.

Everyone knows BYU girls wont have a beer with you, but they will have a roll in the proverbial hay with you. Thank goodness he is getting married so I don't have to worry about him sexing anyone up before it is allowable by BYU law. I couldnt handle another Harvey situation.

Anybody remember Todd Shell? He went on to play for the 49ers. He moved into my married-student housing when he first got to BYU as a freshman. He had gotten married right out of High School.



I waited a whole two months after getting home from my mission before I got married! I took my daughter with me to my 1-year mission reunion. :bug:
