Hey everyone....kugrlover...aka 79walkonKUGR here.



Praise to Jimmer that someone tweeted me about this site...because 1) I didn't know it existed and 2) I am currently in the penalty box on CB...serving out a 7-day suspension...my longest ever. :~(



My high crime was posting a link to a Facebook group I created last week called 'Send Michelle a Valentine.' My intentions were truly good natured...a sequel to glemonade11's 'Olive Branch' idea. But the CB cartel didn't see it that way and it was 'back to the cooler' for me.



You know the absolute WORST thing about this sad story?



I had 3 tickets to BYU-Utah Saturday...but Saturday morning I had 2 cancellations literally two hours before the game. I wanted to give those seats away FREE to a couple of Cougar crazies like me so I would have good company up among the bluehairs in Section 122....but.....NOOOOOOOOOOO. I was banned on CB, nobody hangs around TBS during the day and I didn't know about this site.



So I had PLENTY of room in my three seats. And even though I'm 54 and have a bad heart...when it comes to cheering at BYU games....I am pretty-much ALL IN....just like the student section. I was rising, shouting, cheering, booing, clapping like a madman in Sec. 122....and I stood out like a naked man walking down Wall Street at high noon. :blush:



Anyway....glad to be here. Hope everyone got to see my 'Hitler reacts to Michelle Peralta' video on youtube. I tried to capture the same spirit as everyone who posted on her facebook wall: gentle humor, no name-calling and a re-direct back to Jimmer. Hope I succeeded. I got 3 dislikes on it....I'm guessing MP, Oswaldo and Michelle's sister Amy....a BYU-I alum (I found this little bit of 4-1-1 kind of telling)



Great stuff with Jimmer yesterday on ESPN, the polls, the RPI, the projected brackets. ALL SYSTEMS GO for March.

hot job? retired....HAD one for 20+ years 8)

hot car? Mine is a '97 Maxima with 267,000 miles and a BP-sized oil leak :angry:

hot toys? can't afford em..my biggest splurge are BYU tickets :D



Hopefully, that'll get me in the clubhouse door...just don't name me 'Flounder' ;)

I have a hot BYU wife as well, but she would kill me if I posted a photo of her. She is a BYU grad as well, but as luck would have it, not a huge sports fan. She just puts up with my fandom.

What's the appropriate response to a "my wife is hot" and a picture?



I could say "yes she is" and get in trouble.

or I could say "no she's not" and get in trouble.



or a whole plethoras of inbetweens and also get in trouble.



I for one think you have a hot baby. Not the baby. the other baby... you get the idea. :sulk: :sulk: Did i just get in trouble?



Oh and Urroner flaunts how hot HE is all the time.

I would hope all husbands think their wife is hot. But I think the appropriate response is always the honest one, if the OP can't take the heat of the response, then he probably shouldn't be posting pics of his wife. ;)



My wife seems cool with me posting pics of her, because she knows that means I still dig her.



(btw - I know CP was kidding; we've pm'ed for fun on this matter numerous times... I also know that CP has very very good taste in women)

then you will fit in fine here. we put up with craig only because, well, he's a pretty avid and knowledgeable fan, in spite of him flaunting his hot wife and perfect kids to the rest of us. ;)

Welcome to the boards Michael! Stay awhile. We have great conversations here, and even recently started doing a weekly podcast discussing all things BYU Basketball and Football. We have a fantastic community here.



On a side note, I was served a 3 day suspension from Cougarboard during the football season, when I called the Aggie fan who made the "Where's Harvey" shirts a name. I was disgusted that they would stand up for a guy insulting one of BYU's best players ever and his wife, that I never did post there again after my suspension was served. I pretty much stay here, and I'm better off for it. :D
