Aren't we all cheering for the same team?

Last week we had Cougar Board attacking Cougar Corner. This week the Cougar Blue experience has become so unbearable we are venting our frustrations about it. Is it just me or is there something wrong with this picture?



I find a common theme here: Cougar Board, Cougar Corner, Cougar Blue. Aren't we all BYU Cougar fans?



I can understand debating some differences of opinions, but to the point that we can't tolerate it or that we are name calling?



I am not pointing a finger at anyone here. I think that most people here are here because they want to enjoy discussing and debating BYU sports without being childish.

The CougarBoard attack surprised me, but the CougarBlue discussion wasn't surprising. I haven't visited CougarBlue for quite some time, but left because they allowed the site to become a disaster. The "attack" on CougarBlue wasn't about the same team. They were overrun by enemies a long time ago, and the rest of of fled for safer ground.

I agree with Y12. Thats exactly why I don't talk a whole lot about CougarBlue, we all know what our history is with that place, it happened and is over, as far as I can tell we're all better off for it. CougarBoard, though I don't like their format, I have nothing against any of the users there. Its unfortunate that some of their users feel differently about us and would go out of their way to attack us.



If anything I would like to more unify the various Cougar sites. We're all working towards the same goal after all.

I remember logging onto Cougar Blue a year & a half ago, and I didn't recognize anyone. The conversations there had degraded. I was pleased to get a message about cougarcorner, and i found my friends again.



There is a common Cougar theme in all of the mentioned sites. Kind of like Protestants, Catholics, and Mormons all share a belief about Jesus, but we don't get along as well as we should.

I realize the CougarBlue discussion wasn't an attack. I tried to choose my words carefully and said "venting our frustrations" hoping that would make it clear.

My guess is that your post about encouraging people to not name call and get a long will lead to name calling and not getting along :)
