SDSU's Steve Fisher scolded by MWC

According to this brief, Steve Fisher violated MWC policy by calling out UW's decision to fire their coach midseason.

Almost every time the MWC reprimands someone, its because they spoke the truth (someone once said something about how the wicked handle the truth...).

Lame...I doubt Fisher could care less.

Does this help Dave Rose's case for MWC COY? Maybe a bit. Beating SDSU for aa 2nd and 3rd time would help more. Bumping off CSU another time or two wouldn't hurt either.

Rose could go undefeated in conference, wouldn't help him at all. MWC makes the COY decisions before the season starts my guess: SDS or CSU coach wins it...complete bollocks.

We won't win it. No way the MWC gives us POY and COY.



The MWC believes we're where we're at because of Jimmer not Rose. They'll give it to CSU or SDSU. They'd prefer to give POY to Kawhi, but since Jimmer is up for national POY they'll have to concede and give it to Jimmer.

Rose has won the COY before. If we use the same argument that Jimmer is only going to win it because he is in the running for NPOY, then we have to say that Fisher will win because he's being strongly consider for NCOY.



The media members and coaches vote on this stuff anyway, so it's not like BYU has many fans there, even before this year. Also, BYU does a horrible job of selling their players media wise (admittedly worse in football than basketball, but it holds true, Jimmer being the complete exception to the rule).
