Understand that Coach Poppinga was recruiting in Oregon and offered a scholarship to Tanner Balderree. Any background scoop on this player (position, height, weight, etc.).



Also heard that Rob Morris is potentially joining the coaching staff - what's the word on this?

If Morris joins the staff it would be as a graduate assistant.



He's not Polynesian, so he's got that going for him.

Seriously, how can a former 1st round draft pick, seasoned veteran NFL player, who played for a Super Bowl Championship team, help BYU in any way?

Baldaree is a two-year all state defensive end and tight end. Played for the Oregon 5A state champion Sherwood Bowmen. About 6'2" and about 230. Very strong. Recruited for defense. Tanner was told that Bronco said "get him" after the defensive coaches recommended him and Bronco watched the first two plays on his highlight reel.



January 2012 scholarship. Plans on mission early on.

Apparently Brocno has extended a full-ride scholarship to a Cali recruit looking to make his own mark in a family rich in Cougar football history. Any guess who this kid is and FB information about him?
