DU article about Michelle

Whelp, she's the dumb, stuck-up cuss word we thought she was, too bad. Maybe if we all pray to Jimmer real hard, her heart will grow three sizes one day.

I just wish people would be educated enough to understand that when you post something on Facebook, you are speaking to the world. I think she can have and voice her opinion all she wants and I'm not bothered by it, but she crosses the line when she accuses others of "sin" and then is appalled or sickened by all the responses to her internationally accessable Facebook. Why did she post it there then? It's like saying, "I'm allowed to speak, but the rest of you, if you don't agree with me, then shut up."

Besides Michelle, what the hey was this comment at the bottom of the article from Emilio Urriola, 22, a freshman from Alemana, Chile:



“The truth is, I haven’t heard a whole lot about him,” Urriola said. “I only know him because of the stupid stuff that’s going on. I like basketball, actually. I like watching the game. I don’t like the players.”



Something must have been lost in translation. She likes basketball, but she doesn't like the players? Hummm.

Yeah, I reserved judgment until now but she is a highly foolish and ignorant individual. I feel sorry for the self-righteous folks out there, like her, who are able to read everyone's thoughts and hearts. It must be so tough to know exactly what everyone else should change about themselves without really having the power to do anything about it. Poor Michelle!

She complains about constantly hearing about Jimmer and compares Jimmermania to idol worship. Her name is posted at the bottom of the editorial. Well come to find out she has an open Facebook page, meaning anybody can post on there. So she posts this on her Facebook page:

"just wrote another irritated letter to the editor of the BYU newspaper."

So one BYU fan comments on her post "Jimmer! Jimmer! Jimmer! Jimmer!". And then another fan posts something else Jimmer related. Then another, then another. Pretty soon this girl had OVER 600 Jimmer related comments on her Facebook page. All in good fun. Nobody attacked her personally or anything.

I often tell people I wouldn't even have gone to BYU if it wasn't for Y sports....maybe not true, but dang close.

I'm recently married and my wife and I were discussing where we want to live when all is said and done. My wife finally just said, "Let's face it, we're always going to live in Utah. I can't be very far away from my family and you can't be very far away from BYU sports."
