UCONN goes down in flames again

This time at a neutral site to unranked St Johns.



That means Kemba and his Walkers have lost 3 of their last 4. and his average over those games is about 15 instead of the 20 he's been averaging.



Methinks they be fading.

Now we just need Ohio St. to lose a game or two (C'mon Wisconsin, I've got faith in you!).

Can we please end the Kemba for POY talk now. He had a really nice month of November, and a decent December. But he's not been great or POY-worthy in Jan.

Why is St. Johns still unranked? They've beaten Duke, Notre Dame, AND UConn now - each by double-digit margins. How many teams can say that? Sure, they have 9 losses. But West Virginia has 8, and they have nowhere near the number of quality wins UConn has. Their best wins are #8 Purdue and #13 Georgetown, and the latter was also beaten by - guess who - St. John's. And one of West Virginia's losses was to who? St. John's!



Stupid polls. That's why I love the cold, sweet justice of the RPI and a freaking PLAYOFF!

Neither St. John's nor WV should be ranked. Gotta be consistent.

I think it's kind of hard for people to rank almost every Big East team. I hear your comment and I thought the same thing when I heard that mentioned in the game last night. Boy is TCU going to be a perrenial bottom dweller for a long, long time over there.



In all seriousness, I can't imagine what it would be like to play in that conference this season. What they don't have in FB they sure make up for in BB.

Plus, as has been noted, the teams he lit up in Maui ended up being pathetic. Kemba is done.
