AF game a trap?

no, just wanted to get that out of the way before someone else decides to inflict us with the nonsense that it could be.



There is no room for error in conference play this season, therefore, no one is overlooked on the schedule.

We can overlook the :utard: game. We don't need to worry about defeating them since they do that themselves in a grand way. We might have to worry about whether Jimmer will shoot for 50 and if we'll break the century mark. I only hope so.

After the UNM loss there are no more trap games. Each team will have our full attention.

AF is no slouch, they play tough, they have shooters, they compete, they can beat you. But this is true of most teams in the conference.



My worry is all our injuries, but I'm encouraged by the fact a couple of bench guys really decided to play against UNLV. The bench better play, or we'll lose another game or two. Still, I keep waiting for another complete game, where all 5 starters really play well, score, rebound, and defend--this has not happened in the last two or three weeks. Too often Davies disappears, or Collinsworth, or Emery, or Hartsock. The only guy that never disappears is Jimmer, and that's why he's the Jimmer.

Well, if by "disappears" you mean has an off night, well, yeah, Jimmer has had two of those in a row. Just so happens that by now, an off night for him is averaging over twenty seven points! THAT'S why he's The Jimmer!

Jimmer has been absent and has had little impact the last few games. He's gone away and I don't even think he had an influence for a while. He needs to step up and double his average this week. :lol: :lol:





Seriously this will be another one of those games when you start to hate AF, just because of the dooshy game they play (like boYlen frutes just without the red).

If we play vs AFA like we did vs Wyoming - they will kill us. THey played us close in Provo. AFA, UNLV, and UNM seem similar in ability but are all inconsistent. Great some nights - bad on others.
