I will say this about Tre

"He is not very athletic and how many times have we seen him dunk the ball on a fast break? Jackson Emery who is an inch shorter than him can dunk it with ease on any fast break. What that tells me is our starting rotation is not that athletic when compared to most of BYU at this point. How sad is that? They owned us this year."

They are honestly blaming it on the refs? The refs swallowed their whistles so much when BYU was on offense last night that I thought for sure they were pulling for UNLV once or twice.

I actually felt they did pretty well in comparison to other games. There were a couple of missed calls or no calls, and there were times where they were ticky tacky and times where they just let them play; but unlike some of the other games I wasn't all the bothered. Probably because it wasn't just one or the other to the extreme. I think they actually got the more obvious calls that it seems like they miss in some of the other games.

I thought the refs did a pretty good job. They actually called fouls against Jimmer.



UNLV got spanked this year by us, twice, and I wouldn't mind doing it a third time.

Were either of you guys at the game? I'm curious how much of a difference it makes seeing everything in person vs. on tv.

Yeah I was at the game and decently far up so I guess you could say my vision might of been a little skewed. That and I kept passing out from the lack of oxygen.... And strangely I kept getting a bloody nose. Although I assume I was just bring possessed by ghosts.

No, I was at the game. I don't think the reffing was bad all game long by any means, but there was a stretch in the second half where UNLV was getting away with things that should have been called. Case in point: Jimmer working his way down the court, he fakes a pass, his defender jumps in the air, and lands on Jimmer's back, no foul. Jimmer works his way around the guy and drives into the lane, but two defenders flank him and jostle against his legs/hips as they run alongside him. Jimmer loses his balance, the ball flies out ahead of him and into a UNLV player's hands. No calls, UNLV ball.
