Gameball vs. UNLV

My thought on the game as far as the person that actually made the play or plays that were the turning point. I have to give the gameball in this game to Rogers. He came in and he changed the entire tone of the game. Before he came in UNLV was getting 3 or 4 chances but once they brought in Rogers he got to those rebounds. Suddenly it was one and done for UNLV. And that is when BYU started to pull away. Up to that point UNLV was able to stay in the game because of all their O rebounds but Rogers put a stop to that. He did get some points but I noticed a turn in the game with his defensive rebounds.

It went in our hoops more than theirs. And for that I will be very grateful.

I gotta say it goes to Emery. He may not have played THE most critical role this game, but long-term he is the most important piece to the puzzle and he showed why tonight.

I agree and his drive to the basket where he dished to Davies for the DUNK was one of the best plays of the game.

I think Davies is game ball worthy. During the stretch when the tide began to turn for good, he had two huge offensive fouls go against unlv, he blocked 3-4 shots and simply controlled the paint better than I've seen him do before.
