I saw Drew's tweat about Rocky bashing on BYU, saying we did not treat the MWC right and that we have an unfair advantage as a result of returned missionaries. WOW! I thought Hoke was a whiner! It must be in the water or something.

Remember when that little girl left NM cause they weren't treating him well?



I remember when they used their time out with 10 seconds left and BYU was up 30+ points. He's a tool, the mwc are tools, SDS are huge tools, and as rusty tools, they'll continue to satisfy each other in questionable ways.

What a breath-taking display of childishness and stupidity. I did not expect to hear rubbish like that from Rocky Long. Is he not a friend of Bronco's since their time together at UNM? Could it not possibly be true, Rocky, that BYU simply has a good FB program? Why must you look for excuses for being dominated (they must have some unfair advantage)?

The only reason those clowns say they think a mission is an edge is because they only have to deal with 1-2 at a time MAX, not 20+ on a rotating basis over 2 years, plus the extra year to get back in game shape. Really, if it was such a huge edge, teams in the SEC would have already started sending kids on 2 year peace corp missions to take advantage of it.



And the MWC got what it deserved. The MWC and its business partners blew it. The blame goes with Comcast.

Translation: BYU beat us with Jake Heaps at QB when didn't even know what he was doing. Now that Jake Heaps knows what he's doing we don't want to lose by 50.

Thank goodness he was never considered for a job here. I wouldn't want that loser anywhere near my players.

Why is SDSU so obsessed with BYU? I mean they spend an entire article whining about BYU and then at the end it's like "Oh yeah, and SDSU hired a new coach." I mean really this obsession is getting ridiculous!!



This is the team who went to a bowl game for the first time since '98 and still drew less then 14,000 fans to their final home game. 14,000 BYU fans will show up for road games but Rocky is "Oh we wont play BYU for a few years." as if BYU really needs SDSU.

Personally, I just think he is saying what works with his fanbase, nothing more. SDSU fans do not hold any love for BYU, and why should they considering how we dominate them across the board? Same with UNM. Some schools just hate losing, even though they usually suck.

I believe the blame "starts" with Comcast. I cannot not fault Hair Thompson for his very unprofessional treatment of BYU since and before the announcement for BYU's move to independence.

The honest truth is SDSU is the only loser in not scheduling BYU on a monetary basis. My hope is that at least a decade goes by before we would even consider them IF they came to us. How many times do you have to be slapped in the face before you have no more cheeks to turn?



Honest truth, on a football basis, I possibly I only see AF and UNLV as being the only teams that will actually be amicable to scheduling games with BYU over the next 5 years or more. CSU and NM maybe. They haven't burnt as many bridges and the new MWC teams (BSU, FSU & Nev) don't have any track record of dodging BYU.

Every day someone is calling about scheduling a game. He mentioned Dallas as an example. We can play anybody as part of being independent. WE are anxious to play TCU again!

Any American that understands the birth of the nation, will support and understand BYUs circumcision of the mwc. Each mwc team should really be able to sympathize with Great Britain and offer to trade cotton or tobacco for a deal to take over BYU.
