I just don't understand why anyone would say anything.

Bronco handled that pretty well.

pretty well--he lives just on that edge. He does not like the public spotlight, uneducated (inthis case educated, presumably) fans, and those that oppose him.

BUt then again, I guess I would as well. Idiot fan, media or whomever. have some impulse control. Dave Fox, just thinks he's clever like a fox--idiot also.

By the way, Bronco has it right--Ryker does not weigh 300 yet. Listed at 285 still and the kid has room to grow on that strong frame. He will be a beast for us. Matt Reynolds, John Tait type of guy.

Reminds me of when my father in law tries to tell a story and his wife feels the need to correct every detail (even the irrelevant ones). "It wasn't 74 degrees that night it was 75."

First off, Bronco is not at fault here. The fan who interrupted him is. You don't need to correct the coach in public. Rykert's actual weight is a non-factor and not important enough to interrupt the proceedings.



Second, the fan was wrong, BYU and Scout all list Rykert at 285lbs (ESPN had him at 280) which is closer to the 275 Bronco said than the 300 the dumb stated.

Is there a story here? Some moron yells out a different weight then Bronco was briefed on. What would you do in this situation? Bronco made light of it, he didn't insult anyone. If the moron who felt the need to correct Bronco was insulted by the way Bronco handled the situation then he needs to grow up. Bronco didn't give him a nasty stare, didn't look irritated by it at all, made a joke about it.....moved on.

I think it was also pretty obvious that Bronco was joking and that everyone had a good laugh. It's been a while since Bronco showed much sense of humor. I

All I have to say about the guy who yelled out is What a Dork!! At what point in your life do you become the kind of person that feels it necessary to correct a D-1 football coach on the weight of an 18 year old kid? That man needs to get a PS3 or a dirt bike or a telescope or model airplanes or any hobby to occupy his time a little better.
