Jimmer=Confident;Rest of team=Tentative

This has been going on for a few games now. There is no one on the team other than Fredette who wants the ball in their hands. Hartsock is a complete marshmellow. This game made me literally ill. That is all...

Davies has been good and mentally tough also. But I agree about everyone else. They need a good kick in the pants and hopefully this loss will do that.

Jimmer might have been overconfident tonight. He had a lot of out-of-control drives to the hoop trying to draw fouls,and when the refs wouldn't give it to him, he kept trying and trying and ended up taking bad shots or bad passes. We could have used some more quality possession on offense in the second half, and he wasted quite a few.

The only two players who can play under pressure is Jimmer and Davies. All the rest don't need to be guarded. Jimmer was sucking some serious air when Rose took him out to rest. When he returned, he got 5 quick points. He was spent because he carried the load both Wednesday and today. Tournament seed is dropping. There better be some more players that can play under pressure. Jimmer can't do it all every game. He needs some rest time during the game...

Agreed, Emery is the main guy that needs to step up his game offensively.

Abouo and Davies showed up to play today. Noah ran out of gas. Emery was a no show. KC has been roaming around like a lost puppy the last few games.



The loss is a good wake-up call. Only way to make up for it is to win out now.

Jimmer has been caught in the air with nowhere to go an seemingly no idea what he wanted to do before he leaped as well the last two games.

Does Jimmer have a memory? We'll see when New Mexico comes to Provo. How many points will Jimmer get in that game? I wouldn't be surprised if he breaks his current Marriott Center record. Question is: Will he dmoninate and hit 50 in that game????

I really do not understand why people want this. If Jimmer scores that much everyone else is standing around and no one gets into a rhythm. Just completely baffles me that fans think its good. Every now and then yes, every game no. The team is much better when more guys are scoring.

I want Jimmer to feed the post to Davies. I want Noah to play with authority. I want Emery to be able actually hit an open shot in a game that matters. And, I want KC to do something other than dribble the ball at his hip while standing in place.

Good luck with your wishes. Like Scott Laydne once said - If my Uncle Harold would have been born a girl, then he would be my Aunt Martha. Davies is the ONLY one of the bunch that has shown a propensity to score under pressure. As much as you want the team to be balanced, the other players have shown that they can't handle the pressure. And that's with 2-3 guys on Fredette. If that what you want ...... hopefully Jimmer passes the ball a lot and takes 3 shots. Can you say 6 game losing streak? We don't want Deron Williams to shoot either. Pass it to Kirelinko and let him jack up 20 shots a game. I get where you are coming from, but realistically it makes no sense to me. I want the NCAA tourney, not the NIT.... And I don't want to watch that mess. Go ahead and let me know the final score.

Who other than Jimmer has hit a game winner this year? Naoh hit one in the earlier tournament for the win. Other than that, give me some names. SDSU game, major pressure (just like the NCAA) and who other than Davies helped Jimmer with scoring. The others missed layups and uncontested close shots. The pressure got to them. I believe they can score, but not under pressure. Why do you think Wyoming gave us a run for the money? Guard Jimmer tight (and Davies too) and let the others beat you. The "OTHERS" didn't do to well....

Noah hit the winner against USF, Jimmer hit the winner against Saint Mary's, and Noah and Jimmer both hit free throws to ice the USU game.



None of our other games have been close enough to really identify a "game-winner." 3 games isn't really a very big sample size to say the other 8 guys can't do it.

Last year Emery hit plenty of big shots, Abouo played much better offensively than he has this year, Hartsock even played well early this year but has fallen off. We have plenty of guys who can step up, but if you've only been a Cougar fan for half a season, you wouldn't know that, hence the jab.
