CougarbibThere is a great article in the Honolulu Star Advertiser today - about Jim McMahon. I hope he brought his wife and I hope she drags him to Church in my Ward - not much chance of that, I suppose - We meet at 1:30PM this year.
I would love to meet Jim McMahon. It sounds like all I would need to do is go look for some non-descript, typical tourist, guy at the practice field or in Waikiki.
Jim gets a ton of respect, even here in Hawaii where BYU was hated in his day. He even has a comment about toughness of a certain current Chicago Bears QB. You get the feeling he did not use the word "butt" in the original quote.
Great sports memories like his left-footed punt to the UH 1-yard line are recalled.
