Well I think it's best to move on to the next game since it's no gimmie. I know everyone in the media is still fawning over the SDSU game, but we haven't won a game in The Pit for a while so this weekend's game is going to be tough. There is no question that the Lobos aren't as good as they were last year, but I believe Gary is the best point guard we will see in the regular season so there is a reasonable cause for concern.



Yet again, this will be our opponent's biggest game of the season to date so the fans and atmosphere will be hostile. I'm hoping KC can get back to being aggressive and crashing the boards. As always, if Davies avoids ticky tack fouls that force him to sit then he should be able to dominate the paint.



And btw, I was very impressed with the D vs SDSU. We all knew they weren't much of a shooting team but even still they couldn't even get good shots off against us. More impressive was the interior D and all the swats we came up with...who saw that coming? My only fear is that on the road they call fouls against us on those kinds of plays--it's the way basketball reffing goes sometimes. All the same, the D was awesome (I wonder wth happened @ CSU) and we'll need it again to slow down Gary who is their best weapon.

Gary was the guy who beat BYU last year in both games. Not Hobson. He made Jimmer look like some washed up wannabe. Hopefully Jimmer responds this year. Or Rose just sticks Emery on the dude.

In the two games last year, Gary shot 31 FTs and Jimmer 7.

Remember when TP ran over to the student section after BYU won? That was funny.



If BYU thinks they are winning a conference championship they HAVE to win here. I think Rose will have them ready for it and we'll get to watch BYU play their game.

Exactly. Gary was blowing past Jimmer on almost every possession. Penetration leads to easy points.
