DE's next year??

So what do you guys think they, Ansah and Bryson, can do next year?? Is it just me or are these guys monsters in the making?? Ansah just needs time/experience and hopefully he'll get some good learning experience this spring/winter. Meanwhile Bryson just needs to pack on a few more pounds, with his speed on the end he could be scary good of given the chance. These guys Diamonds in the rough or are my Blue Goggles blinding me??

Ansah is a great story but I suspect that his eligibility will run out before he learns the position well enough to get significant playing time at DE. Look for him to blow some people up on special teams though.



I agree that Bryson could develop into a stud if he adds some weight to go along with his speed. Is Bryson a member and if so any word on mission plans? Also, does anybody know if Rowley plans to go on a mission?

Ansah provides depth, that all great teams need to live through a season. He had Julius Peppers athleticism and size, so even if he's 3rd on the depth chart, he's going to make this team better.



Bryson is legit but thin (as is Fua) BUT from what I know about the work ethic of Muehlman and Broncos trust in his hard working RMs, I would not at all be surprised to see Muehlman pushing for starters minutes by the fall. If you watched the Oaks Christian game against Heaps team, then you know that Fua is a monster that just needed some bulk.



There's also Lene Lesatele, who I've been told is better than Jamora of UW (who started several games for UW including their bowl win over Nebraska)



If Putman ever decides he wants to be great, (because he has the size and motor when he wants to) then we have a pretty nice set of DEs. Putnam has Keisel/Denney size and could get paid to play in the NFL if his technique and work ethic improve.



Having followed most of the freshmen on fb, I can tell you there hasnt' been a hint of mission chat by Stout, Tuiloma, or Rowley (and a couple others that slip my mind right now) and if they don't go in the next few weeks, then I'd be surprised if they did go, because it really doesn't help them physically with spring ball, etc. That doesn't mean they wont' go, but the possibility is less the longer this is dragged out.

Tuiloma is still a baby so he might actually be waiting until after next season to make a decision.

i watched that game and he was insane. He was incredibly disruptive and is definitely flying under the radar right now. He will be amazing.

If this is true, its is great news. Jamora looked really good this year. I know that UW is trying hard t poach him away just like they did with jamora last year.

Putnam for the firs time started looking pretty legit towards the end of the year. Had a great game against Utah.



I was suprised when they took off rowley's red shirt instead of tuiloma's when fuga went down. Word on the street was that he was most ready to get reps his freshman year of the bunch. Excited to see what he can do as well.



If our line is good and our secondary works itself out, we could have a really special year.

Has Ansah learned how to put on his pads yet?



I'd love it if he learned the position well enough to play DE on a regular basis, given his freakish athleticism - but as was previously mentioned, his eligibility will probably run out before he gets to that level.

In a 4-3 he could learn enough to be freakishly good, but not in a 3-4. There is just too much to learn. I hope I am proved wrong... Maybe he has it in him. I would hope so for our boys in blue, but as cool as his story is, I want to see the best guy out there.

Gurney Tweeted today that Fua is WELL over 200lbs now. Freakin' SWEET.......Here comes the Monster DE of the future. He still has the rest of the summer to add more weight as well.
