So, almost (but not) hitting a 3 to put your team down only 5 qualifies as a "knockout blow?"

That's nothing if you've been following him for a brief time. But typical.



In fact ALL local media had little faith in BYU for something and Greg Wrubell is deserved of some credit for being the lone voice that I heard be confident in BYUs chances. Shame on you mwc/mtn/local media (who are mostly yewt backers now for whatever reason)

Everybody wanted an upset. So, rather than look at the game rationally, they found ways to justify their reasoning as to why CSU would win. Completely forgetting that Jimmer is road warrior and BYU is flat out better than CSU.

Sorry, but I had to correct a few misspelled words you didn't put into your comment.

Yeah, you have to be winning to deliver the knockout blow. Maybe not in boxing, but when the analogy is used in other sports it usually means the superior team has put the game out of reach.

I would say CSU ALMOST got off the ropes a few times in the game, but every time they started to get their balance Jimmer, Jackson, or Collinsworth would land another flurry of blows.



And Jay Drew is a freaking Ute who is always trying to backhandedly compliment the Cougars.

Drew is just a very glass half-empty kind of reporter when it comes to BYU.
