BYU Contacted Roderick - He Turned Them Down

Hmmm...looks like we just lost one rumored candidate. Who else has turned us down or who else appears to be in the running?

Roderick is currently the offensive coordinator. BYU has an OC. Until Roderick is fired, why would he even consider moving to BYU to probably be the receiver's coach. If Roderick is fired and looks around and can't find another gig as an OC then we might have a chance to land him.

This is being blown out of proportion. What I'm hearing is that he was asked if he wanted to interview. This was probably before the rumors of Chow to Utah came about.



At the time, why would he be interested in interviewing for a position coach spot since he was currently co-OC with the play-calling responsibilities? Even now, I'm not sure he'd take the interview and possibly the job. He needs to wait for his buyout money, or even to see if he just gets to keep the job.
