Potential new coach

Jay Drew just reported on his twitter account that there are some tips that Steve Clark could be coming to the Cougars. Here is his info:

In the sidebar Gurney just posted that it looks like Clark is a slam dunk.

that's a pretty gawdy resume; but would coming in again as a positions coach be a move up for him?

OC at SUU or position coach at BYU...I think I would choose the big time college football program. Sounds like he can coach a lot of different positions from defense to offense. And, he was the special teams coach down there. I wouldn't be surprised to see a shake up in responsibilities for the offensive coaches. I am pretty excited about the new coaching staff...but what is quite apparently missing is diversity. I understand that Weber is not LDS, and Kafusi is poly, but no African-American?

If Clark gets that job, the question is, which one? HE is a BYU grad, so I suppose that is good. He was the OC as SUU which threw it like crazy, so that is good. But he also helped coach O-line at BYU previously, so what does that mean?



Just makes me wonder if Weber will be gone or not.
