Oh, good call. I didn't think about that. I feel like Ty Detmer got the best deal during his last 5 or so years, getting paid, coaching on the sidelines (that's coaching experience worth looking at).

What's with his hamstring? Did it rip in half or something? I just never thought of hamstring pulls being serious enough to be put on the IR.



Maybe the Bears figure that Unga's had a good number of these injuries, so a year of sitting out would be good for him.

Tmoney, you must not be a JAzz fan, or you would remember Boozer's lost season in 06-07 I believe it was to a hamstring. But a lot of people back then felt he should have been playing a lot earlier.



Hamstrings are no joke. And can take a LONG time to heal up correctly. Otherwise you're just going to injure it again.
