What Can We Expect in 2011

Wow, with all the changes that we are seeing in coaching staff (philosophy, attitude, etc.) - Bronco is totally rebuilding the staff to reflect his demeanor on O and D. Do we go undefeated in 2011 and who do you think has a break-out year with National Attention?

Pretty exciting stuff that I think will pay dividends for years to come. However, undefeated requires LUCK, regardless of how good your coaches and players are. I think we will garner National attention for sure next year though.

Such large levels of change traditionally have not immediately bred a lot of breakout years. Improvements, yes, breakout years are not common. I'm glad Bronco is doing some changes, but a new staff coming together usually doesn't happen instantaneously and needs time to work things out. Besides, there is not official announcements saying that Bronco is changing much of anything. We're just such gosip mongers-TIC

Better than 2010 offensive intensity, focus, unity, and leadership;

There can be only one (qb)! (dangit, he was right--who was "he" anyway, cant remember);

Much better ppg and ypg over the whole season--particularly the last six games;

Better offensive game planning, play calling, and personnel utilization;

Better efficiency in passing game, far fewer drops by receivers;

Explosive tandem of Hoffman and Apo. better slot production, as well; who knows about the Lose-Ends, excuse me, Tight-Ends.

15-20 % improvement in all offensive categories over 2010.



Not as sure on defense. But solid, solid. Bronco will have them firing bullets.

I expect a few misfires in 2011, with so many offensive changes occuring, I expect our real great years (with this staff and group of players) will be 2012 and 2013.

We can expect a lot of kick and punt returns for touchdowns :crazy:

The offense should be fine unless the new coaches blow it. The defense should be mostly fine - except defensive secondary will lack depth at best and probably have one or two starters that get beat on occasion. Special teams is always a crap shoot - hard to predict. Kicker experience vs talent may be a factor. We will be way better in 2011 than 2010 no matter who is coaching because the young talent now has experience.
