If only Brigham Young could pass the honor code at Brigham Young, we could have a few sweet beards on the O and D-lines.

btw, so does brett not like byu anymore? whats up with him stating his high school instead of byu?

I am growing my beard out in honor of 'the beard' although it is not mighty like his yet, it is growing red and strong.

Even Chuck Norris is scared of Keisel's Beard.

I wish I would have seen this sooner--I cut back my Thanksgiving beard to 3/4" on Friday.

Keisel's beard would make any NHL player proud!

A lot of players have been naming their high schools instead of colleges this year. I think its fun, I mean, imagine you're a kid at the high school that gets a shoutout on national tv, pretty cool.

The Beard definitley looks better after he showered. I had one like that when attending graduate school and during my early career. I almost got kicked out of BYU for growing one.



After losing a bunch of weight last year, I told myself and others that if I ever got above 190 again I would cut off my leg. I came back from the 2nd of 2 3-week mainland trips at 191. I decided to grow a beard as a badge of shame rather than cut off the leg. I was back down to 188 today but a few of my friends are lobbying me to keep the beard - nicley trimmed of course. Grey speckled these days.



So I will keep the leg and maybe even keep the beard for a while. Someone in HP group siad I remind him of a tv show, I have never heard of , calloed Undercover Boss or something like that where the boss disguised himself so th eemployees won't recognize him. Just losing 95 pounds resulted in some people not recognizing me. The beard added to that. In Gospel Doctrine after returning after this 2nd long trip since Thanksgiving, they asked me to introduce myself as on eof the visitors. I am currently the Sunday School President. I stood up and introduced myself and it took several people a while to realize it was me.



I hated the hair rules at BYU when I was there and abused them most of the time. Every time I walked past the Brigham Young Statue, the hypocrisy just ate at me. But someone explained a million times, a beard was not the sign of rebellion back in Brigham's day that it was in 1969. I really didn't learn to appreciate BYU until after I was gone. My last two sons never even applied anyplace else(I actually made the last one apply to BYU-H and BYU-I just in case, but the other one didn't even do that). It was all or nothing - luckily both were accepted.
