I guess I'll have to steer clear of you then. I have the KSO's and they are awesome! It basically is like being barefoot all the time and your legs feel a lot lighter while working out (not to mention you work different muscles and it strengthens your feet and stabilizer muscles).

I know some people that wear these and love them. I I couldn't bring myself to even try them on, which I'm glad about because don't want a punch in the face anytime soon.

They're from an Italian company called Vibram who mostly make soles for high-end boots (If you know any firefighters, they probably have boots with Vibram soles). Anyway, the word for fingers and toes in Italian is the same, so they ended up being "Fivefingers."

I agree 100% with Sno-dawg!! Uggghhh!! I've seen a couple guys wear them to work in the morning over the last 4 or 5 months before putting their work boots on. So G%*!! I cannot type my exact thoughts - I would appear - judgemental. Let's just say, I will never wear them or allow any of my family to wear them. They are soooo G#@!!!!!

Whelp, if you hate the way feet look, I'd suggest you cut them off or sleep and shower in your shoes. I choose comfort and natural mobility.

They're almost as good as Vibrams, but you can't individually use your toes.

Now - I like those Merrell's. They look like shoes. 8)

vibram makes the soles for the high end US army boots. Very good stuff.

Yes they are. On my work boots - all I've had is Vibram soles for 20 yrs. The current boots (Danner, Ft. Lewis "Go Devils") I've had for 15 years & 3 re-sole jobs. I'll wear them for 18 - 20 hrs. a day. All Vibram soles - solid - a real work horse - but heavy.



I've worn these boots & worked in them all the way from San Diego, Ca, to Oregon, Colorado, Montana & Alaska. I love my boots - but I'll be glad when I don't have to lace them up in the morning one day. Heavy dawgs.
