Changes to 2013 BSU game

BSU has signed a home and home against UW, and asked their game with BYU to be moved from Sep 7 to 21, so they could play UW on 9/7. This isn't a big deal, but the article also said, "Washington agreed to a $1 million buyout penalty for the Boise game."



Buyout penalty for who? Does BYU get a mill for pushing the game back two weeks? THAT would be sweet.

BYU had already changed the date to add Texas 9/7/13. I was hoping the BSU game would be in Oct/Nov to allow another early season game against a BCS opponent. If they get Utah at home those season tickets will be worth anything they ask.

Oh yes! Nothing is coming between me and this home schedule! By 2013 all the pistons should be firing on both offense and defense. Should be exciting!

So Washington last year or so bought out our future home and away contract we had in place with them and now they have signed up Boise? What am I missing? Is it JUST the closer proximity or their desire to be on the mtn or play on the Smuf Turf?
