MWC Tournament

I have never been but plan on it this year. When you go do you have to buy the full tournament package if you want to see all the byu games?

You can pay single game or get a reserved seat for all sessions for $175

I got my tickets through the Wyoming alumni because I am going with a friend who is a Wyoming alum and since the seats are based on your alumni status I figured we would have a much better shot at getting decent seats in the Wyoming section than in the BYU section. Plus, I can't imagine Wyoming playing past day one, so we should have plenty of Cougar company the last two games.



BYU is staying at the MGM and that's where we booked a room. $150/night on the strip, not terrible. Be sure to get the reserved tickets, that way you can guarantee your same seat for all sessions of the tourney.

I've actually been thinking about making the trip with my wife. I served my mission in Vegas and my wife and I haven't been to visit together since 1995, though I've been back 2 times without her. And what happened in Vegas on those trips, stays in Vegas. Let's just say The Hangover was loosely based on my memoirs. :P

If you booked at the MGM Grand, you might want to try changing over to the MGM Signature. The price is about the same (sometimes cheaper), but is newer, much bigger and quieter. These were built as residental condos until the economy tanked and then were converted into hotel rooms. so they are studios and 1 or 2 bedrooms I believe, with kitchens. Located behind the MGM grand so you have to walk a block to get to the main casino/strip,but makes it a lot quieter. This is probably where the team is staying instead of the main MGM hotel.
