Best Back Court in Country?

Jimmer is Jimmer, but with the defense and superb shooting of Emery, is there a better back court?

I admit that I know little about other college programs in the nation. But this back court is simply astounding. We have two guys that would start for any program in the nation playing together. And both are so unselfish it almost defies reason.

The only other backcourt that comes close is SDSU and Dukes.



My Blue goggles will tip me this way and say that YES!



I actually stated as much to some of my bball buddies after the UNLV win last week. I think they have the best 1-2 in the nation, and maybe best 1-2-3 when you throw in the KC/Abuou/Rodgers/whoever else combination.

We'll beat SDSU like we have the last few years. They still can't regularly beat the zone and it shows. Teams have figured out how to defend SDSU regardless of their undefeated record.

Somehow my mind went backwords on me... I was thinking about how we have the best 1-2 in the country, and you could maybe extend that to the best 1-2-3, and then my mind started thinking about how our 4 and 5 is really lacking especially with Davies in foul trouble all the time. That led me to think how good we'd be with somebody like Leonard down low along with our 1-2-3 and that with a lineup like that, we'd beat anybody in the nation, maybe even Duke.



So in my own twisted way, I was comparing our backcourt to the SDSU and Duke

frouncourt. That is the course that those split-second synapses led me down.

and for the record, I would still take BYU and JimmyJack... against Leonard and the Duke tallboys.
