Was Rose lacking class for putting Jimmer back in?

I'm just trying to imagine what the Uties would say. You pulled him out for the game? and then put him back in?



Perhaps everyone assumed that Jimmer was done for the game when that was never Rose's intention or perhaps Boylen refused to go away so Rose responded. Either way, Post-game rose says he didn't know how close Jimmer was to the record.



Either way, classless or justified?

He was lacking my class when he took him out.

He put him in because Utah went on a run. After the game, Rose said he didn't know how many pts Jimmer had until he took him out after the free throws.



If any Ute whines about it, just laugh at them. This is a great spectator sport. 8)

I dont think either. More importantly, he had a good visit with Boylen after the game, twice. Justified suggests he did something wrong and needs to be justified.

Everyone at that arena wanted to see Jimmer break 50 pts, whether they admit it or not.



I don't think it was really classless. I like the attitude of keeping the pedal to the floor.

I got my MBA at Utah and root for Utah unless playing BYU and I would love to have seen Jimmer get 60.

When Jimmer hit for 49 at Arizona the crowd gave him a standing "O". At Utah it was more boos than anything. Even Jim Bates mentioned that no read shirts were clapping. I don't really care what they thought, I'll bet Jim Boylin would love to have done it and I'll bet the Ute fans would have loved it if the roles were reversed.

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D at the stupid :utard: s. When Jimmer has 45 points, BYU sure to win the game and Rose puts Jimmer back into the game, THEN you know you better shut up, because you're only making it worse for yourself.

Nope.

Rose started pulling his starters thinking that rather than embarass Boylen any more that they'd start to play their reserves and give them minutes. Boylen kept his starters in; Rose didn't like that. End of story.



Rose still relented when a lot of other coaches would have left Jimmer in to stick his finger right in Boylens eye.



Nothing Dave Rose does is classless.
