I know you are trying to be funny here and I usually laugh out loud at your "this just in's" but I just had to point out that what happened in AZ was NOT a result of any political rhetoric. A very troubled young man decided to do something terrible and he alone is to blame for it. The fact that one political party is now trying to blame the other party and talk radio shows + using the tragedy to pass more gun control laws is disgusting.

After Ohio State and Auburn's victories in their respective BCS bowls, BCS announces a new slogan for 2011. "The BCS, disproving the notion that cheaters never prosper since 1998." :)

Dude! What's funny is that Chinese military leaders this week said a transparently false thing--that no one need worry or pay attention to all of their military upgrades--I was making light of it. I have never seen US military leaders say that countries should not worry about our weapons. Rather, they say, I think, that if you mess with us we have the wherewithal to respond.
