The Heaps/Apo/Hoffman et. al. Connection

Love what Doman said about Apo and Hoffman in SI Part 2 Article:



He (Apo) has the potential to be good as any receiver in college football by the time he’s done. That’s how talented he is physically...We also have Cody Hoffman. Their bodies look the same. To have 6 foot 3, long lanky strong receivers at Brigham Young University – we’re used to having shorter and not quite as fast wide receivers. But this is the first time we’ve had that here, and we’d be crazy not to be excited.



Look for Doman to work with Heaps to capitalize on this WR tandem (hopefully being instructed by BC) - and coupled with a good running attack, we may be seeing some serious fireworks on offense this year - keeping defenses backpedaling and off-balance.

Holy crap, the though just makes it hard to even sit in my seat. I hope that apo pans out. hoffman and heaps developed some good chemistry over the year. He is just going to be even better than he was. If all stay healthy, it could be scary.

Yep, kind of gives you chills thinking of having 2 guys that require safety help over the top :) That all by itself will help the running game. Now if the TE's improve, our offense will be unstoppable.

I hope we see typcial 80-100 yds/receiver with Heaps throwing for plus 400 yds/game.



Another aspect about our offense that is a major plus is that most all of the offensive line skill positions are in place. This will provide stability and time for Heaps to check off the available options.



We are poised to capitalize on 2010's strong finish, could go undefeated in 2011, a seventh straight bowl bid awaits us.
