Patrick Higgins MUST go

He sure sounded arrogant and selfish with his take on the wide receivers this year and how they were better this year than last year.

Nothing could have been farther from the truth. Makes me wonder if Higgins contributed to Chambers' attitude that got him kicked off the team.

That article is a little harsh. I don't think you can say that he is selfish simply because he is spinning it as positive as he can.



While they struggled badly this year it was not all higgins fault either. thet two qb decision surely added to it as well a the chemistry issues and having new quarterbacks as well. there were many factors.



i am not defending higgins. he didn't seem to have his guys prepared but the article kind of attacks him personally which is probably not necessary.

I almost stopped reading after the first line of his quote. Statistics only go so far and anyone who doesn't see the games being played behind such a statement is a fool. So if a player has a 4-TD game and completely dominates then that negates 10 games of repeated drops and lack of clutch play? My goodness it would take an utter moron to not be able to see through this BS. When I watch a game and actually expect a drop on every pass then there is a serious problem. Self-deception buddy--that's all that is going on here. Take the blame or get out.

That's the point. While Bronco is accepting blame for any and all criticism for poor results, Higgins is trying to justify the autrocity on the field.



The WR were role players in 2009. In 2010, they needed to step up and be stars. Didn't happen. Sure there were other factors going on, but to spin it into a positive without taking any accountability for what his players did is unacceptable, in my book.

Who is a freshman to question an All-American? I was trying to avoid a personal attack, which is why I wrote "reflect a selfish attitude" rather than directly calling him selfish.



It didn't help that he inaccurately stated that the 2009 team passed the ball more than the 2010 team.



Maybe I was expecting a more Bronco approach where he admits to the short comings. I am fine if he wants to give a defense, but make it legit--emphasis on running the ball in several games, maybe tell us about some undisclosed injuries--but don't sugar coat it and play the victim.
