Colts 10, Jets 14 (Nervous time for a Colts fan)

4th Qtr - 2:36 to go - Jets 14, Colts 13

Colts just got the ball back on their own 20 yd line.

It's Peyton Manning time!!!! (I wish Collie was playing - he would be the MAN!!!

Crap!!!! 3 sec. to go - Colts 16, Jets 14. Jets kick a field goal!!! I hate losing on a field goal!!!!

Final: Jets 17, Colts 16

A lousy field goal - it stinks!!! Depression sets in. I'm drowning myself in Diet Dr. Pepper. :~(

Colts end up leaving just a little too much clock on the board and the Jets come back and win it.



Aaron Fransisco also got a quad or calf injury during the game.

Colts were just too banged up this season to get it done. A little too many missed plays on offense and a little bit too much wiggle room on defense. You gotta believe that Manning has done outstanding for the guys he's got this year (isn't Garcon his only healthy starter?).

I thiught I heard that Peyton Manning is a "Free Agent" now. I have not confirmed that - but - what a blow that would be to the Colts if Peyton chased some big $$$ to wrap up his career. Can you imagine - Peyton as a Raider?? No!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, I should also add: What the hell were the Colts thinking kicking it deep instead of squibbing it on the final kickoff!?

That's going to be a good game - tough for me. I like both those teams. However - MY guys are playing this weekend. Yep!! Go Steelers!!! (The only team I like less than the Ravens is the Raiders - but the Ravens scare me. Their defense is dominating).

To me - this coming weekend is the best weekend for NFL football. 2 days. All day. Good teams. Smash mouth!!!! It's better than the Superbowl to me. I love it!!!!!
