BYU could be ranked #10 next week!

I know rankings don't mean much, but the higher up the committee sees our team throughout the year the more they'll think we deserve a top seed--since we all know none of them will ever get to actually watch the boys play.



BYU is at 14 today.



#13 Georgetown went down

#8 Mizzou lost to (yikes) Colorado

I think #9 UConn will end up dropping #12 UT

and currently Georgia is up 10 on #11 Kentucky in the 2nd half.

I say 11th.

I say never lose a conference game to the cheap lying mwc a-holes.

4 spots in one week seems like a lot. I bet we're in at 12.

So far today the following ranked teams have lost today:



#8 Missouri (14-2)

#11 Kentucky (12-3)

#12 Texas (12-3)

#13 Georgetown (12-4)

#17 Kansas State (12-4)

#18 UCF (14-1)

#19 Michigan State (10-5)

I don't see anybody jumping us in the polls this week and I have to think that we'll jump at least three of the losers in front of us (#14) after a lossless week and a win over UNLV on Wednesday.

Maryland @ #1 Duke

BYU and SDSU should both be ranked in the top 10 when they meet in a few weeks. Its going to be an epic game.

Yeah, barring a serious meltdown by either team, it should be a dual top 10 matchup when we meet on the 26th. BYU shouldn't have any trouble dispatching the four opponents until then. And while SDSU gets UNLV at home and has to go to UNM, they should be fired up enough for both games to not overlook them.



It could even be a top 5 matchup if teams keep dropping in front of us. SDSU is already practically there while BYU won't be far behind. There's currently two Big East teams ahead of SDSU and six in front of BYU. Alot of those teams will play each other too over the next few weeks.

The great thing about this SDSU game is that we could easily beat a top 10 team. And then if we keep winning, when we go to SDSU, we won't get that big of a hit for losing on the road to a top 15 teams.
