EM_PumaFlattering, but it seems there are so many ways to rank a team for BYU to end up in the #1 position. Top 15 team for certain and there isn't anyone we couldn't beat in the top 10, which we will soon demonstrate in a small measure beating SDSU, but I don't see is as the number one team in the land.
They were discussing RPI in the pre-game mtn show before the BYU game and I'd have to agree that RPI tends to be just an instrument that the selection committee uses at the end of the year when they are deciding on seeding. So it's good to be at or near the top, but it kind of shows me once again that there is no real full proof way to indicate who is the ultimate best outside of headsup play in the NCAA tournament.
