Not sure we need another pure scorer and I'm not sure we could even sacrifice Abouo's defense and rebounding, but at least Jimmer could have been given a rest.

FYI...Found his season stats so far...



Currently playing on undefeated #21 Midwestern State basketball (many of their games have been blow-outs btw)

He's second on the team in scoring at 13.8 ppg shooting .466 (toward the bottom of the team)

He's 26/71 from 3s

and looks like he's playing second fiddle to a guy named Chris Hagan who's the team star...



So the guy goes to D2 and still is second best. But, at least he dumped the honor code.

Forgot about Jr. Funny how that works. Could have enhanced his budding young legacy by staying at BYU. You just cannot buy one and he is not sounding like NBA megabucks will be coming any time soon. He could have been the 5th man at times if BYU wanted to go small at times. He did have the ability to drive the lane.



But could BYU be any more effective with Jr, Jimmer, Jackson, Davies, and Hartsock than they are with the last four plus the rotation of others we have seen - not clear. But to give Jimmer some rest. Sure. Fill in back when Emery was hobbled. Sure. Maybe he would have, along with Jimmer and Davies, gotten us rolling vs UCLA.
