Congrats to Emery, glad 20,000+ are there. That's more fans present at the game, then are viewing it on lil' TV.

This computer at work doesn't have audio working, so no KSL. What is hapening?

This may sound weird, but since I've moved out of Provo and the state (out of mwc footprint) I don't have the required channels, I feel like I have grown closer to Y sports, and anger kindled against the mtn/mwc is mostly frustration not being able to see most games online-legally or illegally. This is my first year being out of the loop, I feel for fans who have been out since 2006. What should've been a good thing turned into a dirty prostitute SVU episode.





BYUtv/Holmoe, ESPN are carrying BYU into some big big big time stages, and every time I think about the mtn, I just remember what's coming and the resources BYU has displayed. On the edges of the greatest basketball team ever, missing these games hurts, but at least CBS will air the ones that count, and those dirty biotches can't touch those games and bury them under their unlv-sdsu women's volleyball games.





So to the Mtn: In the words, of my great friend Nigel "sod off" forever.

We really need to put a fund together to get someone the equipment needed to broadcast.

To add to my rant, I have a Vizio which picks up free channels, and I do get versus, but you have to remember the mwc does everything in their power to put games on versus that are most challenging for BYU and only put a few on ie at tcu in football, at unlv would've been perfect, but I guess they wanted more people to see unlv win on CBS-CS (of course BYU won!!)





That's the other big reason I hate the conference and network, so much anti Y is tiring.

Ugly second by BYU, but they do go on to win the game. Perhaps it was a bit of a let down after the UNLV win, but this game still should have been over by the 10 min mark in the 2d half.

Are Jimmer and Emery going to pass the ball or have a 3 point contest every game? This style of play is going to catch up with them against a team like SDSU. Davies should have dominated a small Air Force team the whole game. To bad he cant get the ball.

Since my daughter who is holding my tv viewing hostage until I leave for Hawaii tomorrow and her husband are not sports fanatics, they never bought the $12 per month package that includes the MTN. So I did not see the aforementioned 3-point contest. Were they missing them? Anything over 40% is very good on 3s. Was Davies doubled? The Tweets I got said AFA was leaving Emery open.

Well - it's a "W". I am worried about SDSU. It should be a very close game.

Davies wasn't in the entire game, save 10 minutes. If he wants to see the ball, he should play a little defense. BYU is lucky they are able to win games with little to no contribution from big guys. His 10 point effort, although appreciated, isn't blowing the roof off for the minutes he's played (or should be playing) as a starter. I like Davies a lot, but he needs to slide his feet and get in better position to make a play on the ball, instead of making an "Andrei Kirilenko" spread your arms out block. They will call that all the time in the NCAA. He needs to get into better position on the defensive end, and stop picking up stupid fouls...



But I like Davies, don't get me wrong. I like him a lot. We need him to beat really good teams, and go deep. We also need him to play minutes (not in foul trouble), so that he can become a part of our offensive rhythm.



EDIT: Just looked at the minutes total. 19 minutes. And how many of those were played in "foul trouble?"



So you are asking someone that is playing 38 mins and 36 mins respectively to give it to the guy off the bench more than he was on? "Oh, hey, you're back... here's the ball, and try not to get a foul called on you..."

30% on 3s is a little cold for BYU. AFA also seems improved from last year. We should have been able to put them away, but like UNLV, they did rally a bit late.



Nice win. A little ugly. Not going to wow the pundits. But we ate going to be flirting with Top 10 when the rankings come out.



I do hope we don't get complacent as we work through the schedule leading up to SDSU in Provo.



Not to look too far ahead - but keep winning and bump off SDSU in the MAC and BYU will be flirting with a #5 ranking by then.

Im sure im overreacting, but it just seems like they are being ball hogs, i remember one play were Davies is calling for the ball in the post and emery looks at him and then passes to jimmer. Give him the ball and let him go to the hoop. You cant shoot 30 3's a game, they arent going to go down like at UNLV every time. Im definitely glad for the W but i dont understand the 3 point shoot outs every game.
