Seth Davis is a Dou$&e

Seth doesn't know what he's talking about. Who has SDSU beaten? Seth can now eat his words after last night's win.

BYU's stock will get higher - this weekend and next weekend. I expect to see Top 10 in a couple of weeks.



But, I am glad to see them pump up UNLV or SDSU - the bigger they are - the harder they fall - and the win counts for more come March.

So this is one guy that I don't want managing my finances... "You don't want Apple stock, because it is at the top. " You want whatever dumb stock that seems like it's a commodity.

To Seth Davis' credit, he tweeted some major love for BYU after the UNLV win and even said Jimmer is at the top of his list for POY.



It'll be interesting to see where he ranks the cougars this week.

It will be interesting indeed, since I don't think he's had BYU ranked yet.

If BYU suddenly becomes a "Buy" in Seth Davis book next week I would definitely not take financial advice from him. Go from a "Sell" to a "Buy" in one week?



Glad he likes Jimmer...just about everyone does, though. Those that claim they don't like Jimmer still have to acknowledge he's a good player, which is probably why they don't like him. I remember really not liking Wink Adams, but it was because he was so good, especially against BYU.



I think Seth is like many pundits out there that believe BYU is a one man show, forgetting that one person can't score all the points, grab all the rebounds and defend against a whole team. Defense is 50% of basketball and Jimmer really doesn't do the heavy lifting on defense (I think he's a bit of a liability on defense). Jimmer and the team came out of the gates slow a bit this season. It's been our defense that's kept us in it.



Can't wait to beat SDSU. I'm calling a win there. Let's sweep MWC play, shut up all the pundits and get out of Dodge.

Seth was bad but Jon Wilner is just as bad. He as St. Mary's ( a team BYU beat) as 21 and BYU as unranked.

Seth has at least realized BYU is a good team. Whitelaw Reid moved BYU all the way up from 22 to 20 in his ballot.

so the lead "bad" voter this week has BYU @ 18, and Reid is in 2nd place with BYU @ 20.
