Jimmer's long 3 from the logo was sick! Man that kid can shoot. Awesome win for the cougs.

I love how pleased everyone is about how good Jimmer is. The Las Vegas reporter almost sounded giddy about the win.

I noticed that also.



But the truth be known, how can anybody in their right mind ever hate Jimmer. He's such an awesome player and very humble about it also.

Thanks for the highlight videos. Seeing those shots by Jimmer & Emery is much sweeter than listening to KSL radio and just hearing the play by play.

Two favorite highlights of the night were Davies getting the long rebound and throwing it down with authority during BYU's run with 3 mins left in the 1st half and Jimmer's 5 point shot from the "V" of the UNLV logo on the floor. Yeah, the shot was only worth 3, but should have been worth 5 from that distance. Davies slam was a great motivator for the Cougs and Jimmer's redonculous shot showed it was BYU's night.

I'm not sure what defense you can run against a crossover three from 40 feet.



Similarly, while he didn't make it, I liked Davies' dunk attempt late in the second half where he went strong and got fouled. I thought Davies did a great job of being aggressive last night. If we can get 15 and 10 from him in March, we'll be very tough against ANYONE.

1 - Jimmer hitting the 3 from about 35 feet.

2 - Davies scoring just about every time he touched the ball. He finished with a double double

3 - Emery hitting the 3 with two defenders in front of him with a waving Jimmer across the court. You could see that Emery saw Jimmer there, but rather than pass it off to Jimmer he chose to sink it himself

4 - The replay of Logan almost getting hit by an elbow shows a frustrated Noah trotting down the court mouthing in frustration "Pass the ball!" I thought it comical and if I were Noah would be frustrated too because there were about a half dozen screens Noah set for Jimmer and if Jimmer just turned his head he would have seen a wide open Noah under the basket.

My favorite play of the night was near the end, when BYU passed the ball all over the court being chased by rebels, and the ball ended up in Jimmer's hands as the shot clock wound down and Jimmer sinks the 3 with no one around him. Dagger!
