allegedly. Hans Olson reported on 1280 the Zone, that BYu approached Wong. He could not confirm for what purpose or position; nor if this meant that Webber was on his way out. Hans also said that he did have alot of respect for Weber for his coaching approach and technique taught.

1280 is the Zone. 1320 is KFAN.

I hope Webber's not on his way out. Wasn't Ryker Mathews big on Webber??

I think if Wong comes on, he comes on as RB coach and Reynolds takes over inside receivers. Weber has been a solid get and I think he stays if he wants it. But if John Tait were to apply......

I knew John while he was in KC. Unless he's changed some, he's not a particularly adept communicator and doesn't strike me as a coach or a motivator.



I taught sunday school in his singles ward a million years ago in KC; I went out of town for a week and apparently he covered for me and I was told that he nearly put the room to sleep.



That being said, he's a very nice guy and certainly was successful, in fact aside from Steve Young, I think he's probably the highest earning BYU football player ever in the NFL.

I posted this on another thread last week but Wong applied for a position at BYU over a week ago. He was not approached by BYU but rather applied for a position immediately after hearing that the offense was being evaluated. Wong wants to coach at the D-1 level and has for many, many years. If it weren't for personal reasons he would be coaching at Utah right now.
