Charlie Weis a Florida Gator

Well - well!! Word is Kansas City Chief's O.C. Charlie Weis is moving on - to become the new O.C. @ Florida. Charlie did pretty darn well with the Chief's. I'm a bit surprised he is moving on so quickly. Perhaps Charlie will do for Florida what he did for Notre Dame & run them into the ground. LOL!!! I'm just glad he's not coming to BYU.

"New Florida coach Will Muschamp began filling out his coaching staff by announcing the hiring of five coaches on Sunday, including three which have been previously reported.



Charlie Weis has been hired as offensive coordinator and is expected to be officially announced today."

Apparently this is a move to get his sons foot in the door in coaching. It was a package deal.

So I guess coaching in Florida beats coaching in Kansas City. Speaking from a geographical and not coaching perspective.

He should stick to the NFL as an OC.



He was pretty good with the Chiefs and was awesome with the Patriots.



If this move is to get his son in the door. I can see that, but I don't think he'll last. He always seems to think the grass is greener, when he has had it pretty dang good at times.
