How Long until new Coaches are announced?

We all have this sick waiting game of not knowing what our offense will look like next year while the current offensive coaches are waiting to figure out if they still have jobs.



How long does Bronco & co make us wait?

Depends on who has applied. And since there weren't any actual openings until just a couple days ago, they are probably just now starting to get more applications.

IMHO - I think we will know who the new Off. Coord. will be before the end of this week. The Assistants may take until the end of the following week, or longer. So the new O.C. & Bronco can interview, meet & confer, deliberate & flesh it out. It's a big deal to set a new course - and make it right.

IIRC the posting on BYU's webiste closed on 1/4. I doubt they turn anything around before 1/14.

What weekend are all the recruits in town? I believe that's the 7th.

Hopefully Bronco has not risked losing current coaches without already having a very good idea of who is realistically available and who he thinks he wants. Then If someone he hasn't even thought of applies that is even better than who he has already thought of - that would be a very short list of quick interview(s).



I would hope he picks an OC and then has the OC finalize picks from a very short list.



As usual, I have no idea what, if any, Bronco has had with any potential OC Candidates, but one of the first questions I would ask an OC candidate is who and how they think they would go about building out the staff. An experienced OC might come with a staff and a philosophy - good, bad, and ugly that might be included.

Though I wouldn't be surprised - if Bronco - while on vacation - is driving his wife craaaazy being on his cell phone, emailing & txting to stay on top of this Coaching change & all the developments. There is no way Bronco is on vacation & not getting his updates & briefings. It's just too important. Critical decisions to be made pretty quickly.

When Bronco goes to football, wife stays at home. (wish that was true for me).

so anyone have any idea what kind of coaches he might find in Mexico? Maybe this whole thing is a covert operation so he can interview Mexico's finest.



Who coaches El Tri anyways?

The Church is very strong and growing in Mexico - could be positioning for the future. Probably recruiting a soccer style kicker.

I am sure by weeks end. The limbo is not good for recruiting. Oc is named by weeks end if not sooner. may take more time for doman to get his assistants together. 8)

Under normal circumstances I would agree. I submit these are not normal circumstances. I submit this is a "big deal" in Bronco's world. I also submit & feel - Bronco is involved deeply in these unfolding events. IMHO.
