BYU new future QB

Sorry i know its a little misleading...I found out day before Christmas that he are going to have our first child..Soon as i find out its a boy, iam booking his spot in BYU football camp. Wife made me a deal if its a boy i get to set up his room. ummmmm i wonder what the room will look like..Just really excited wanted to share with my fellow Cougar fans.

Congrats. Big day! The day I found out the sex was always the day it became real to me. Had my first and only boy while at BYU.

Ah, nothing like seeing the excitement of a new prospective father. Enjoy the trip whether he comes to like sports or not. The joy is there. I do have a keen satisfaction that all seven of my kids are BYU fans with one being about as crazy as me. I enjoyed taking my daughters to games as we've lived here as much as my sons, but when you do have one that understands why sports means so much, it is golden.

If things would turn out the same way, I'd name my son Peyton too...

My little boy is a not so little 19 month old now, and you better believe that he's growing up loving all things BYU! He's big for his age, so I'm hoping that he'll be fast and tall. :) One of the first sign language words I taught him was the signal for touchdown. Now whenever a football game is on, his arms go up in the signal, and when the TV's not on, he'll point to it, and then signal touchdown. I think I'm doing pretty good so far. :)



Hope everything goes well with your wife's pregnancy, and here's hopin for a boy. They're a lot of fun!

My middle son is named Steve (after Steve Young), He was born 4 weeks after Young's Holiday bowl victory--the one where he caught the Rb pass for a TD. Although my Steve is not athletic, he is as big a Cougar fan as I am.

My nephew named his first son, Dantley, after Adrian Dantley of Utah Jazz fame. He put a basketball in his hands before he could walk. This kid, Dantley, is now a senior at Lincoln County high school in Nevada, has had 15 games of 40+ points, scored 36 on Wednesday, can drive, shoot the three, makes his free throws, is a great passer, and has great basketball skill and instincts. Dantley is being recruited by BYU, Utah State, and a bunch of other schools. Only problem is he is only about 5' 10". It will be interesting to see if he can play D-I basketball.

Your son could play after John Beck's son, Ty Beck, graduates.

Thanks for all the congrats guys..Thanks for the QB school links, i put them on my fav list. My wife wants him to be a LB she likes defense. I said that sounds good to me ill turn him into the next Brian Uralcher...(my fav NFL player by the way).
