Independence Bowl: AFA v GT

Have you ever wondered what it would be like if we lost all our technology, modern conveniences, etc. and had to do without all of the innovations, improvements, etc. of life?



Well, the football version of that is on espn right now. Not sure why I was excited to watch this one. What in the yewt was GT thinking bringing the triple option down? Why would any offensive recruit other than perhaps a tailback sign to play in that system?

Best part of this game: AF uniforms are sweet.

Best storyline of this game: the falcon going AWOL before the game.

Well they won the game 14-7, the MWC is 3-1 with TCU left to play.

58:10 of boring followed by 1:50 of decent action. Lame.

Glad I missed this one.

I'm glad they found the falcon.

I know this will get me in trouble for not hating the MWC or for even caring what AFA does, but AFA beat us and it is very nice to see them finish with a bowl win over an ACC team. We came in behind TCU, Utah, and in the bunch including SDSU, AFA, and BYU. It is too bad Utah got embarrassed, but great to see our lower than usual finish substantiated by a few bowl wins including our whipping of UTEP.
