What did Santa Bring?????

Well - it's the day after Christmas. The aftermath - the clean up - the recovery!!! My family all came into town. We had a Christmas Eve dinner w/ all the kids. Then Christmas morning I got up & cooked breakfast for everyone.



Breakfast - my favorite!!! For 7 people I cooked 4 lbs. of bacon, 36 scrambled eggs, 12 croissants and 1.5 gallons of orange juice. More bacon!! Bacon rules!!!!



So - what did you do - or get for Christmas??? My daughter knitted me a riding scarf - to wear while winter riding my Harley!! I love it. Mongo is happy!!



I hope you all had a pleasant, relaxing & family filled day yesterday!!!

All of our kids were here at one time or another except for my son who is a cop in Kansas. Only noteworthy gift we have out were digital photo frames with 700 family photos from the last 30 years. Kept it simple financially since the company I work for is being bought, and waiting to see what that means.

I got a waffle maker, that rotates! I'm pretty pumped about it.



Got a couple PS3 games (Fallout: New Las Vegas, BioShock 2, and Assassins Creed Brotherhood, along with the PS Move) but on Christmas Eve, right after watching Elf the lamp on our 55" tv burned out, so I haven't gotten a chance to enjoy those yet.

My son got me the new Taylor Swift album - pretty cool

Wife got me a new golf shirt and hat. Basically a free pass to hit the links as soon as the weather breaks!

My married kids bought me a real nice Karaoke machine. Now I have something to do the next two weeks since I don't watch any bowl games that don't have BYU or LSU (and won't till there is a playoff system - then I will watch all of the playoff games I can plus the BYU and LSU bowl games if not in the playoff)

Santa was a very bad boy this year. He brought some really cold weather to Florida this year. It's 33 degrees right now and tonight it's getting as low as 27 degrees. I am not pleased with Santa, nor is my orange tree. I guess Santa must have never met Al Gore.

My blessed wife bought me a rugby ball which I have been craving ever since I left Seattle and my weekly touch rugby games with our ward. Santa bought lower level tix for BYU-Utah at the Marriott Center for myself, my Father-in-law, my wife's grandpa and her cousin to see an epic beatdown of the frUtes. It's been a much better Christmas than last year thats for sure :)

I'm still waiting for Santa to bring Ty Detmer and Ben Cahoon... but I heard Ole Saint Nick is tied up in Mexico right now. (I hope he doesn't forget me)

Santa brought a ping pong table that took me until 4:30am Christmas morning to put together!! The instructions were a two page exploded view of all the parts which I had to figure out what went where with which hardware to use, finding all the stupid holes for the screws, making sure everything was turned the correct way, taking it back off a couple of steps later and putting the stupid SON OF A #!@*% THINGS BACK ON THE RIGHT WAY, ACCIDENTALLY KICKING THE BAG OF HARDWARE SCATTERING ALL THE SCREWS AND WASHERS ALL OVER OOHHHH FFFUUUUDDDDGE, TRYING TO FIND ALL THE DAMN SCREWS AND WASHERS AFTER KICKING THE BAG.... I HATE PING PONG!!!! Even though this did happen I do like ping pong and other than being very tired we had a very nice Christmas.

Santa brought good ol' CannonCougar an official Austin Collie Indianapolis Colts replica jersey from the Super Bowl. He also brought my father a Manning jersey so that we will be appropriately dressed for when we attend a Colts game in the future. We're hoping we can get a BYU-Notre Dame game in South Bend along with a Colts home game on the same weekend. That would be epic.
