UngoyOkay, I will preface this by saying that I heard that Jake injured a rib against Utah, and I though he was a total stud gritting it out like he did. The thing that really gets me is that ESPN is reporting that Heaps actually broke that rib during the Utah game. Man that kid has got some guts going out there playing like he did with a busted rib.

Heaps is a total stud.
Heaps is gonna be scary good next year. Look out :utard: and look out all opposing teams. Heaps and BYU's rekindled offense is coming for you.
By the way: This is the Kitic in me getting out... the comparison for PER for today's starting QB's
Heaps: 25-34 264 yards 4 TD's 1 INT - PER: 171.70.
Vittatoe: 14-29 245 yards 3 TD's 3 INT - PER: 132.69.
Again the team with the better PER not only won but dominated.
Heaps PER of 171.70 was his second highest PER of the season, only behind his performance at CSU which was good for 242.64.

Heaps showed some toughness, too. He disclosed in the interview room that he has had a broken rib since BYU's last game, a 17-16 loss to Utah on Nov. 27.
"Not because I got sacked," Heaps said. "Because I was being a knucklehead out there, running around."
