Quezada -- Future leader?

This guy is positive. Haven't read anything negative from him, and he seems to be very smart.

Yeah, I'm not really used to going through what we went through this season," admitted Quezada with a smile. "It's never fun losing, you know, and I want to get that last game out of my mouth and we can do that with a win against UTEP.

He's positive, optimistic, and even willing to cut his long hair that becomes another limb(in their eyes), to obey our honor code.

Dude is already a leader and a bronco favorite. He is the perfect example of what a byu football player should be.

Leadership will be much better next year an just keep getting better for the next three years or more. Heaps has stepped up and won over many players. I still think Van Noy is a leader even though he doesn't say as much as others. His leadership is just how he plays the game. Cody Hoffman will emerge as a leader. Juice will. Several others will emerge in thier own way and time. Hopefully a tight end or two will step up. I would guess, but don't have any way to know, but Kavienga will likley be right in th emix. Throw in some like JJ and Kariya and - yes - our left tackle if he stays. THere will be leaders next year. I think you will see some coaches, not just Bronco, step it up a notch as well.

After watching, again, the 1980 Holiday Bowl with Jim McMahon and Clay Brown, and having watched Dennis Pitta the past few years, it is obvious to me that this BYU team desperately needs a big time tight end. Between now and next September, the coaching staff must find and develop our next star at that position. With all the big time TE recruits we have in the program, it's bizarre to me that none of them really stepped up and did anything this year. If BYU is to be a highly successful team, we must have a big time tight end who is physical, can catch, run, and block.

Such a true statement, that we need a big time Tight End. Look at some of the last second plays in which our Tight Ends have given us a big W. In more recent years than the Miracle Bowl we have had Harline and George win us huge games by finding the endzone.
