AZ fans: Sounding off like AZ fans

They are a lot like utah fans: idiots, poor poor social skills, no moral respect for themselves, women, or others. Perfect recipe for pac-10.

Anyways, they have posts that say, wow BYUtv is great, then one that says, BYUtv sucks, then they have one that says Jimmer is not that good, then some that say Jimmer is killing us.

My fav so far:
Okay seriously...can we ditch Fox Sports and get a contract with BYUTV?

I've never seen a basketball team that has made it cool to be white other than BYU.



Why is it that BYU always looks like national champions when they play us? I mean lights out in your face shooting when we can't hit layups. If I hadn't seen them versus other schools I'd wonder how they ever lose.


BYU had just 1 practice to prepare for them!!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

Until that last three, Jimmer himself had outscored our entire team 11-10. Embarrassing. We don't look like we even belong in the same division as these guys.



If you put Jordan in his NBA prime in an Arizona uniform, Jimmer would still drop 50.

Have to agree with that. The energy the cougars had tonight was unstoppable, it make Az look like a JC.

We should do this more often when we win. I know we write things like this when we lose, but it's HILARIOUS reading theirs.

I thought Arizona played with a lot of energy too, but they were shooting icicles. First half they were 1/7 from 3pters and 25% or so from the field. I don't care how much energy you have, you won't win games throwing up those kinds of bricks.

Over and over now that they are getting killed, they start slamming mormons, and the commericals on BYUtv, most are jealous about the channel, some are racial.

True, Az did have some energized play, but on defense BYU was also dominant which is why Arizona was shooting so poorly. BYU clogged the key, had hands in passing lanes, played great help D, Great zone rotation, great coaching decisions to mix things up on defense. It also helped that our bench play didn't have a noticable drop off in performance.

I read through a bunch of comments on ESPN. It's amazing how the AZ fans were so cocky and self-confident before the game, and even after getting whipped, continued to make negative comments about BYU and Jimmer, many of which were to the effect that BYU doesn't have any real talent, and Jimmer will never make it in the NBA, etc. It reminds me of the Utah State fans last year yelling "OVER-RATED" when they were losing by 3 touchdowns. Some people just don't get that they are making fools of themselves.

The guy that kept saying "BYU is going to get tired - so nice we have depth" and stuff like that didn't show up to post the second half... i wonder why. I found that hilarious.

He probably felt pretty stupid when our 2nd and 3rd stringers were INCREASING the score gap against their STARTERS :lol: Seriously... we didn't even have Hartsock of big Collinsworth!

Schmoe, old buddly, old pal, old friend, you are soooooo wrong. They have the right to complain when the refs are calling too many against their team and not enough against their non-PAC opponent. That is their god-given right, god, of course, is the NCAA.

The AZ fans behind us at the game were morons. They didn't come back in the 2nd half until 14 min left, and were mostly quiet the rest of the game. I told my 13 year old son in the first half that if they continued being idiots that I was going to start chanting ASU! :evil:

Probably wasn't much for them to cheer about, considering Jimmer scored more than half the amount of points their entire team was able to score.
