Big 10 not expanding anymore

The Big 10 (they're the conference with 12 members btw) announced no more teams after studying the field.



Not sure this is a surprise but they did initiate a year-long study and determined what everyone but the WAC and the Big Least figured out last summer that they didn't want anyone else.

They are now at 12, and Notre Dame is not joining, so no other reason for them to add.



Big 12 still needs to get to 12 though. 2012 it happens, but not until then. And I bet they would be more than happy to take BYU for football only, especially if they can get another school football only. I would not mind that option.

Basically what this means is that notre dame said no.
