BYU vs UConn

Now that UConn is in a BCS bowl and cements themselves as one of college football's "elite" programs, would BYU beat UConn if they played each other in the BCS Bowl?

This is like the poll I ran earlier. I think BYU beats Uconn from the 2-3 games I've seen from Uconn, and wins the big east this year. Wasn't the BCS supposed to prevent stuff like this?

If my old high school teammates and I got together, we'd beat Uconn 3 out of 10 times. BYU would trounce them.

Y would beat them like they were utep.

Big East = Joke. TCU is going to run roughshod through that conference for 3 years before anyone comes close to touching them. WV is the only team that's even halfway legit and TCU has more than enough speed on D to shut them down.

Really, I think TCU is going to suffer after the loss of Andy Dalton. Jeremy Kerley is going to be another big loss. I'd bet TCU sees a season much like BYU's season this year, which will give all non-aq doubters some fuel, unless they have someone prepped and ready to go. Dalton was a player though, and if I'm a NFL team, I'm giving him some serious thought. I don't see TCU running wild like they did through the MWC this year, just because they are losing some key components. But they'll compete for BE title.

HA, got a little ahead of myself. I forgot about 2011. They should be fine in the MWC sans BYU and utah. When does BSU join MWC? That's another team losing basically all their playmakers.

The fact that UConn at 8-4 won the Big East is a joke. It's a joke of a football conference. TCU will run through the Big East with average scores in the high 30s to low 10s.

Totally agree. I think any of those 3 teams would have won the big east 06-10 years. Big east could get a few teams that were as good as those three though, and TCU will be unproven next year. We'll have to wait and see how they look at the end of 2011.
