MWC regretting the handling of BYU

"Losing the ‘Big Three’ has turned the Mountain into a mole hill. Even worse, it’s left Boise State wondering why it jumped in the first place... To make matters worse for Boise State, not only did they join a league that has lost its super powers, but they also left the WAC’s ESPN television deal for the MWC’s carriers, which virtually takes them off of the national stage. Whoops!



...The MWC denied the Cougars any concessions in its television package... Conceding to the Cougars wouldn’t have cost the league that much but treating them like the enemy cost them everything – including TCU. Whether it was pride at the league office or continued disdain for BYU by other schools in the league, the MWC cut off its arm to save a finger."

Can't wait to see the comments on the article start to pour in. Oh the ire the Dave McCann is about to draw. However it is still beyond me that any rational (or even irrational) fan can't see how BYU leaving is a better deal for them than staying in the MWC. They all still seem to think we're going dwindle financially and competitively from our break from the pack. Their lapse from reality is so laughable I almost feel sorry for them. Almost.

I love super powers. I think BYU's super power is xray vision, to be able to see things other schools don't. Utah's super power after this year may be invisibility. And all three teams apparently have the super power of flying...away.

I love your intrepretation. If :utard: super power is invisibility, I won't have to tolerate that ugly red color.

In case you haven't noticed, they have an array of red colors, see their helmets, jerseys-home and away, endzone's, year to year jerseys, they go from dark red to light pink. I think the pac-12 is ready to move forward and have a gay school. Utah is trying to get that notch but colorado is pushing for it as well. The utes have to change their name and if they get the big, they'll be the utah pink flamingo's.

The MWC isn't regreting handling BYU wrong. They want the best of both worlds:



Screwing over BYU, and getting $$$ from BYU.



MWC/MTN is full of bad people.

I doubt any tools associated will every regret anything. When you're that pompous, your frustrations are always directed toward others but never at yourself.
