Will the real Brandon Davies please come out

So Brandon had a break-out day. He showed lots of moves, and was able to play well despite having 3-4 fouls late in the game. I think he scored all of our last 10 points or something like that.



Davies is still young, so is this a good sign of things to come, or was this the anomaly? He certainly has bulked up this year and I don't think Anderson is that much better, but what' Davies' upside?

Davies leads the team in PAP (points available percentage) at .558.



He had 9 and 6 against St. Mary's. He's had at least 6 rebounds in each of the last four games.

It's a confidence issue with Davies. Confidence in himself, confidence in him from Rose and confidence in him from the team, primarily Jimmer.



If we continues the way he's headed, by the end of the season we'll be looking at a very different Davies. His development key for us and not just this year, but next season as well. There will be a huge void to fill next season.

Well we need Davies to be this guy because none of our other bigs have the talent to score the way he scores--with his back to the basket. This year did not start out looking very good, but as long as we can get 12 from Davies and/or Noah every night our team should be competitive. Another very promising stat so far is our rebounding prowess. Last year teams owned us on the offensive boards. With Rogers, Charles, and KC out there teams can't push us around under the basket anymore. Because of that we have a much better chance vs UNLV and certainly against rebound-happy SDSU.

That's what I keep talking about...the offense needs to run through the post, rather than through Jimmer 30 feet from the basket. Those are always our worst offensive possessions but coach allows it for some reason.

Someone just needs to give him a play like a man speech or 4 hour energy, get him crazy mad and the Davies we want to see will stand up. If you look at Anderson's play I think he goes into a room before a game and sings primary songs, hence his soft and Lully play.

If the real Brandon Davies isn't the guy that played at Creighton, then leave the real one in hiding and we'll keep the Creighton one.
